GroupFitPro for iPhone, iPad and Mac

Need a human? Write to support@thiris.com. We answer in English and French, usually within two business days.

To help us help you faster, include your device model, your iOS or macOS version, the GroupFitPro version (Settings → About) and what you were doing when the problem appeared.

Getting started

Import your first tracks

Go to Tracks and tap Import. Pick MP3 or M4A files from the Files app — including files stored in iCloud Drive, Dropbox or on a connected drive. GroupFitPro copies them into the app, so they keep playing even if you later move the originals.

In a hurry? On the Home screen, Try a demo playlist creates a ready-made playlist so you can explore the app before importing anything.

Build a playlist

Open Playlists, create a new one, then add tracks in the order of your class. Drag to reorder. Each track shows its detected BPM so you can see the shape of the session at a glance.

Run a class

Open a playlist and tap Play, or start it from the class in your schedule. Class Mode gives you full-screen controls, the current track, the elapsed time and what's coming next — readable from the other end of the room.

Troubleshooting

A track won't import

GroupFitPro plays the audio formats supported by iOS and macOS — mainly MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV and AIFF. DRM-protected files (Apple Music downloads, for example) cannot be played by third-party apps and will be refused. Convert the file to MP3 or M4A, or use a file you own outright.

The BPM looks wrong

BPM is detected automatically on your device and is occasionally off by a factor of two — a 75 BPM track read as 150, or the reverse. Tap the track, then edit the BPM to set the right value by hand; your value is kept and used everywhere afterwards.

The music stops when I lock the screen

It shouldn't — GroupFitPro plays in the background. Check that Low Power Mode isn't aggressively suspending the app, and that no other audio app has taken over the session. If it persists, tell us which device and iOS version you're on.

iCloud sync isn't picking up my changes

Check three things: an active Premium subscription on the device, the same Apple Account signed in everywhere, and iCloud Drive enabled for GroupFitPro in your system settings. Sync also needs a network connection and can take a few minutes for large audio libraries. After a subscription change, relaunch the app — GroupFitPro chooses its storage mode at launch.

I paid but Premium isn't active

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. That re-syncs your entitlement with the App Store. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase. If it still doesn't unlock, send us the receipt Apple emailed you and we'll look into it.

My classes don't appear in the Calendar app

Calendar export is a Premium feature and needs calendar permission. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars and make sure GroupFitPro is allowed, then re-enable the export in GroupFitPro's settings and pick the destination calendar.

How do I move to a new iPhone?

With Premium and iCloud sync on, sign in on the new device, launch GroupFitPro and let it sync. Without a subscription, use an encrypted iPhone backup (Finder or iCloud Backup) and restore it onto the new device — app data is included.

Subscription and billing

GroupFitPro Premium is $6.99 per month, or $49.99 per year with a 7-day free trial. Everything is billed by Apple through your Apple Account — we never handle your payment details.

Feature requests

GroupFitPro is built with instructors, and the roadmap comes largely from what you tell us. If something is missing from your class, write to support@thiris.com and describe the situation — what you teach, and what got in your way.
